A: In these scenarios, the bonding surface structure is relatively simple, requiring bonding mainly with the polyethylene (PE) outer layer of the pipe. The new sample exhibits extremely high peel strength, exceeding the measurement range of the test equipment, so the equipment could not read precise test data. Manual peel testing confirmed: the adhesive layer bonds firmly to the steel pipe with no interfacial debonding; under external force, the heat shrinkable tape substrate was stretched and elongated, achieving substrate failure, which proves that the adhesive-steel bonding strength is superior to the substrate's own strength.
