In 2020, as Tianjin Yihuide Anti-Corrosion Materials Co., Ltd. marked its ninth anniversary, the company completed a comprehensive relocation and upgrade of its production base. Facing the combined challenges of the industry environment and the COVID-19 pandemic, Yihuide continued investing in R&D, improving its production system, and strengthening its talent team, ultimately establishing a larger modern facility and achieving broad improvements in capacity, quality control, and R&D capability.
Since its founding, Yihuide has remained focused on pipeline anti-corrosion materials. Over nine years, the company has followed a technology-driven development strategy, continuously investing in product R&D and process optimization while recruiting and developing professional technical and management talent. This has gradually built a complete technology and production system covering heat-shrinkable tapes, heat-shrinkable sleeves, repair materials, and related products.
In 2020, external conditions placed significant pressure on operations, and the pandemic created multiple challenges for production, delivery, and project execution. The Yihuide team worked through these difficulties while maintaining stable order fulfillment, completing the planning, construction, and relocation of the new factory on schedule and moving into a larger, more standardized modern production base.
The upgrade focused on four key areas—capacity, equipment, quality control, and R&D:
• Production workshop space was expanded and equipped with automated production lines and advanced manufacturing systems, significantly increasing large-scale delivery capability;
• Testing laboratories and the quality-control system were upgraded in parallel, with more detailed standards applied across the full production process;
• R&D office space and laboratory conditions were improved, providing stronger hardware support for technology iteration and new-product development.
The factory relocation and upgrade marked an important milestone in Yihuide's nine years of development and demonstrated the company's resilience and overall capabilities. From this new starting point, Yihuide will continue to deepen its expertise in anti-corrosion materials, providing global customers with more stable capacity, more reliable quality, and stronger pipeline corrosion-protection solutions.
